Is a helmet too much or something?

I was checking out this new place that is teaching a bit of saber arts and seen it was all kids so I was assuming they had adult classes as well. The thing that I noticed tho... None of these kids had helmets on. Maybe it is just me but when you have a group of kids under the age of 6 in a room with sticks, helmets should be on.

YIKES! Yeah I think that place can get into trouble for that. I know this teacher who took her glass to the park this past spring didn't have all the students wearing helmets and a few parents freaked out. I think she may have lost her job over it. Were the parents eve there like wth!? I would never let my kid (assuming I had one) be without protection for something like this.

I was thinking the same thing like can't these people get in trouble. I know something like this happened in my area but it was an issue with a baby sitter.

Most of these places have the parents present from what I have seen online. There is a club not far from here for ages 14 and under and they all have to wear armor but if the parents are okay with it, they don't need helmets.

Yeah I would imagine places like these allow it to be an option for the parents but still, I feel like any kid under 10 should absolutely swear a helmet.
I got hit in the face by a saber and it was not a pleasant experience. lol
