Well, obviously it is on a day to day basis but taking more in while training. I learned that certain moves actually trigger muscles and areas of the body one is not used to using so to help repair the tissues and heal as you progress, water should be the staple hydration you get in. Also eating healthy things that reduce inflammation like peppers, onions, tomatoes, and so on.

I agree. I think water should go hand in hand with physical activity. I am not a huge fan of it but I do try to drink at least one glass a day. I prefer juice and soda but I am cutting back on soda big time to get in better shape.

I think just general hydration is important. You can drink water or even cold tea. I know a lot of benefits come from drinking tea because more have vitamins and minerals that help the body.
I actually like water though so I have no issue drinking it. I drink mostly water and tea, with the occupational juice or pop.

I hate water. I rarely drink it just by itself. I am pretty sure I am in decent shape with with all things considered. haha

I heard the acids in soda actually age the digestive tract which makes you age physically faster as well. I don't see anything wrong with juice so long as no sugar is added!

Oh yeah I didn't even think to mention tea. Good point! I used to drink tea a lot more when I was younger which seems backwards lol I have to start drinking more green tea again.

Yeah soda in general never was and never will be a "health" drink. I consider it to be like alcohol minus the drunk part. It does as much damage only they let kids drink it lol

I personally love water myself. I never really liked sweet drinks unless it was for a treat. I guess it was because I grew up drinking it so I never minded it. My mom didn't let me or my sister or brothers have any kind of sugar junk until we were older.

Green tea is one of my favorites specially for energy. I like it both hot and cold. I know before I do my saber practices or training I will drink some cold. If you add in a bit of raw honey and lemon, it really helps to boost energy. Not a strong kick like coffee but a mellow boost.
