I know I am. I may not be fat but I have next to no muscle and I barely ever do physical activities.
What is something I can do to help ease me into saber arts and sparring so I don't exhaust or injure myself?

Basic cardio and doing stretching should help. Just move more in general. My friend was kind of like you and got into the best shape of his life in only 3 months just by walking his dog an hour a day. He never gets out of breath anymore.

Really? I never heard of that but I guess if anyone lives a secondary life and just moves more it would make a huge improvement. I need to move more myself. I spend hours a day at work on my butt then I come home and spend more hours on my but playing games. Getting into this will actually get me in better shape but I think I should at the very least try doing something. Walking sounds relaxing.

I love my rebounder, look into getting one of them. I got it not too long ago and I can feel the difference in my energy and awareness. I feel like I am in better shape now than I was just a few years ago and I am not old or anything.
They can be expensive but you can get one from Walmart for around $40. It may not last you years and years, but it will help you see if it is worth investing in.

When I was in my worst shape (in my teens) I was very overweight and sluggish. Hardly did any bit of psychical activity. I started doing some training in my mid 20's after losing some of the weight and I am in the best shape I have ever been in. I recommend doing some form of weight resistance to strengthen yourself up. This way too, your body in general (lungs, heart, ect) will benefit. Cardio when done all the time actually ages the lungs and the heart.

Like an hour every day, 7 days a week? I mean I can see someone getting in shape that way so long as they have not been physically active prior to it. I can't see someone getting in great shape just by walking a dog over 3 months if they are in somewhat decent shape.

I been reading up on these for balance. I am going to have to just fork out the cash and try it. I want to see if it is all hype or not.

It does improve balance well from my experience. I mean it strengthens your legs without straining them which is great for combat and such. Allows you to move more comfortable and not trip up as much.
Trust me I was very klutzy before using it. I only use mine like 4 times a week for 30 min at a time and I feel great!

Yeah pretty much. Probably missed a few days here and there. ;)

Yea he didn't do much before this so I think that is what helped. Just like that show the biggest loser, those people are about as active as rocks before hand so when they lose the weight, it melts off!

Ah okay I was going to say. I am not doubting you or anything just seemed a bit off based on what I know with weight loss.
