General Health Tips to Share

    Do you guys have any general health tips to share for any aspiring martial artists in this field? What keeps you in shape?

    I have no tips. I know one thing though, I am trying to get in better shape so I guess the tip I can share is to find something you know you can stick with and don't give up on yourself. Don't force yourself into something you know you wont enjoy either.

    This is really good advice. I think most people fail to "get in shape" because they force themselves to do things they don't enjoy. If you don't like to be on a treadmill, don't be! You can get exercise doing almost anything outside.

    Exactly! I mean just think of it like a kid would. Would a kid do something they didn't think was fun? NO! Kids get and stay in shape by playing. So if you hate exercise, do something that is fun but involves physical activity.
    A few examples would be skateboarding, basketball, swimming, fishing, camping, walking the dog, gardening, wood crafting, and so on.

    I feel like if people found out there was more to life than just TV and complaining about things they can't control, the world would be in better shape LOL
